ANOTHER major retailer has decided to close its doors for the entire day in just weeks.
As the holiday season approaches, shoppers across the country are looking to grab gifts before it’s too late.
Michaels has recently announced that it will shut its doors on Christmas, giving family members time with their loved ones.
However, the craft giant will be open on Christmas Eve from 7 am but close early at 6 pm.
“Michaels stores will open at 7 am and close early at 6 pm local time on Saturday, December 24 for Christmas Eve, remaining closed on Sunday, December 25 for Christmas,” the company said in a press release.
This means shoppers looking for any last-minute gifts or holiday crafting supplies should head to their local chains before then.

On New Year’s Eve, stores will be open from 9 am to 6 pm local time for last-minute needs.
Additionally, Michaels will have adjusted hours on New Year’s Day as the retailer will only be open from 10 am to 7 pm.
CLOSING TIME
Many other retailers have decided to completely close down on Christmas Day.
Walmart is offering employees the day off to celebrate with family and friends.

The retailer made headlines three years ago after deciding to shut down on Thanksgiving.
However, Walmart has been closed on Christmas for many years.
Customers will still be able to grab any last-minute buys as the chain will be open on Christmas Eve.
Designer Shoe Warehouse (DSW) is also closing all 600 stores on the December holiday.
Some locations closed early last year on Christmas Eve and may do the same this year.
However, other locations will have regular hours on December 24.
HOLIDAY DELIVERY
Target has made some major changes to its delivery hours to better serve its customers.
The company is modifying its Drive Up and Order Pickup as it will extend deadlines for those using same-day delivery with Shipt.
Shoppers can use Drive Up, Order Pickup, or Target app orders as late as 6 pm local time on Christmas Eve.
This will allow them to collect their items on the same day with no pickup window or membership required.
Just note order pickup times will likely vary by store and state.
Finally, orders placed through same-day delivery with Shipt before 4 pm local time on December 24 will be delivered in about one hour.
