A POPULAR home improvement store has made a change to its holiday hours that customers should take note of.
While most Americans have off on New Year's Day, some Home Depot customers want to know if the store will be open for all of their new-year-project needs.

SHORTER HOURS
Many shops and supermarkets are closed on various holidays to give staff some much-needed time off.
But the Home Depot is keeping its doors open on both New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
The U.S. Sun reached out to several Home Depot stores across the U.S. to confirm its hours on the holiday and its eve.
Some stores will reportedly be open from 9 am to 6 pm on New Year's Eve, Sunday, December 31.

Meanwhile, stores will be open from 9 am to 8 pm on New Year's Day.
Most Home Depot stores regularly operate from 6 am to 9 or 10 pm, therefore hours are shortened on both days.
Since store hours can vary by location, it’s wise to confirm with your local Home Depot for the most precise schedule.
Hours are available for each individual store on the Home Depot's website with contacts for the store, pro-service desk and tool & truck rental.
